How to Turn On Habit Reminders in Phantom Tracker (Notifications, Plans & the Free Trial)
A quick guide to enabling push notifications and habit reminders in Phantom Tracker: what you need in place, where to click, which plan unlocks them, and how the 14-day free trial works.
What do you call a notification that hits the gym every morning? A push notification. 💪 Okay, now that that's out of our system, let's get your reminders working, so the only thing getting pushed is you, gently, toward your habits.
Reminders are one of the most-loved parts of Phantom Tracker: a friendly nudge lands right when a habit is due, so you never rely on willpower to remember. Here's exactly how to switch them on, what you need first, and which plan unlocks them.
What you need in place first
Reminders just work once three things are true:
- Notifications enabled on your device. You grant permission once, and it's per device: turn it on for each phone or computer you want nudges on.
- A reminder time set on the habit you want to be nudged about. That's the time Phantom Tracker will ping you.
- A Pro plan (or the free trial, or Diamond) to set timed habit reminders. More on plans below.
- On iPhone or iPad: the app added to your Home Screen. iOS only allows web notifications from an installed app, so tap the Share icon → Add to Home Screen first, then open Phantom Tracker from that icon.
How to turn notifications on, step by step
- Open Settings from the left menu and scroll to Notifications → Reminders.
- Tap Enable, and when your browser asks, choose Allow. You'll see “Notifications enabled on this device.”
- Hit “Send test.” A test notification should pop up within a second or two. If it does, you're set.
- Set a reminder time on a habit. Open any habit, pick the time you want the nudge, and save. When that time arrives, you'll get a push to complete it.
From then on, each habit fires a friendly reminder at its set time, and if you've already crushed it early, you'll get a little celebration instead of a nag.
Which plan do I need, and is there a free trial?
Turning notifications on and getting streak-protection nudges works on every plan, free included. To schedule your own reminder time on a specific habit, you'll want Pro.
And yes, there's a 14-day free Pro trial, so you can try reminders (and everything else Pro) for two full weeks before paying a cent. No commitment, cancel any time.
Our plans at a glance
Phantom Tracker keeps it simple with three plans:

If notifications ever go quiet
Browsers occasionally rotate their push connection, which can quietly interrupt delivery. If your reminders stop arriving, open Settings → Notifications → Reminders and tap Disable then Enable again, which re-links your device. It's also worth checking your phone or computer's system notification settings and any Do Not Disturb or Focus mode.
The takeaway
Enable notifications once, set a reminder time on the habits that matter, and let Phantom Tracker do the remembering. On Free you'll still get streak-saving nudges; add Pro (free for 14 days) to schedule reminders exactly when you need them.
